maybe they distinguish between treatment and rehabilitation?Maybe it's just a language issue, but that's how I would understand the word rehabilitation. The treatment could have been anything from strict rest to wearing a cast or having surgery. I guess rehabilitation may just refer to the time afterwards when you take measures to regain full function like you had before the injury?
(my vast medical knowledge comes from some broken bones and torn ligaments as a teenagerso don't trust a word I say)
Yes I think you are right , this is a period from strict rest to rehabilitation, maybe wearing casts for first weeks. So it seems he started rehabilitation in mid may I guess from 10-20 May like this, he might be back on ice already or will be back soon, I don't think there is vast delay of his recovery. 2 month only has passed this week. As Ms Shirota said he will get new choreos in june, I assume we will have news from first hand soon.

it might be best for him to skip the ice shows altogether if he is still in pain. Or only go to a couple of dates.
