Well, another way to look at it is that there will probably be pressure either from sponsor/organizer/federation for him to attend ice shows had they know he had started skating. So his team probably prefer to not give out many details on his condition. He is kind of behind in program choreography schedule anyway. Especially seeing how today we received news that he is back on ice and the next following news is that there is a possibility of him skipping 4CC for Asian winter games![]()
Thanks! I understand the situation now. Kind of sad that the Japanese Fed is rather short-sighted and doesn't let the skater, his coach and his doctors make decisions in peace.
