There is this thing, so Orser wants Yuzuru to go slowly, maybe not doing 4 quads right away and only add another quad by WC? But it is not easy to master such layout, he needs time. If he brings 4 quad layout 6 months later then he still has to endure the inconsistent time anyway. So that's why he didn't show up at morning practice yesterday, he was training at the TCC.

I wonder if I'll read one article where Brian Orser does not irritate the hell out of me. Probably not.
Lately, I really feel like you. Orser should be nothing but proud to have someone like Yuzuru, an already accomplished athlete willing to push the boundaries even more instead that just "stick around with what he already can do".
Not necessarily. If he is on top of his game physically he can add another quad and land it right away - see NHK last year. Orser propably is talking about pacing his physical preparation, while Hanyu just wants to go 100% right away for Skate Canada.
I was thinking too, that maybe better will be to do 3 diffrent quads for olympics and he will win it, but seeing recently as judges are going crazy with goes and pcs's I think it's better to go for this 4 quads, lol.

Oh boy
Orser could've been diplomatic enough not to blab how his own pupil can't actually jump 4 quads in LP even at practice.
Well actually Yuzuru was clean in practice with 4 quad layout for sure. Because if he couldn't skate it clean in practice, no coach would allow him to bring it to competition.Oh boy

And surely not to brag about Javi and how he can jump everything, even 4Lo, but apparently is too lazy to do it at competitions.
Seem's like Javi' PR again from Orser. Honestly, I'm tired of it since last year :sarcasm:

What I sensed from Brian it's a kind of frustation that both Yuzuru and Javi are doing what they think it's better, going against his wishes.
