I don't think that Hanyu will need a 5th quad in his LP. I think if Hanyu does a good SP and LP, he will be fine against Nathan. I don't think he will do a SP like the one he did at 4CCs - it will be better at Worlds.

It seems that Pooh rain is some trademark from chinese fans, everytime there's a competition in China or anywhere with a significant chinese audience the number of poohs multiply by 330.

He wants it for next season. He won't do it now because he can't. He would need to introduce the 4Lz at the Worlds because it is either that, or lose one 3A and that's pointless considering the combos he can do with the 3As, in the second half. There are other ways to up the BV of this program, if he truly wants to.

Things for Yuzu to do after 4CC:
1. First priority; work of the 4sal-3toe combination both mentally and physically/technically! Needs Brian + team for that.
2. work on the 4toe (the landing was not great).
3. Stamina improvement
4. work on backup plan if anything unexpected happened (again with Brian + team)
5. work on 4lutz only in his spare time under supervision! (and not to be included in the current layout)
6. Do NOT even think about 4axel and 4flip :hopelessness: (BOTH OUT OF THE QUESTION). INJURY IS NOT AN OPTION! :angry1:

No need, his stamina is excellent. He attempted 5 quads, did 4, one of which successfully was around 3:30 into the program, with a 3A at the very end. And he looked quite fresh once he was done too. He just needs to maintain that.

Also take it with a grain of salt, but according to one of the Japanese news articles, someone in his team said he had a minor cold going into 4CC. If that's the case, it says even more about his overall stamina now.
(Even Brian at K&C was saying he should trust his body more, if I heard and remember correctly?)

There's nothing left to be analyzed for his 1Lo when he himself said in the kiss and cry that after he popped the 4S he immediately think of doing 2Slo4S, but he felt his knees was tired/stiff, so he decided against it on the fly and decided to just do the 3A3T afterwards?

OMG! Thanks for sharing! I had done that awkward thing of reading Japanese translations of their commentary but wasn't able to find the video. I was dying to see it just to get the tone of their voice
I noticed it also includes a cut of him after Nathan's program. Did Max and Angelo say more about Yuzu there?
Max says it is a rightful victory on the part of Nathan, however he questions the way the components have been marked (I think he thinks it has been a bit too generous for Nathan and a bit too low for Yuzu because before the marks for Yuzu came out he was expecting at least a 96). All in all he says it's a shame Yuzu hasn't been able to win all the major competitions in his career since he still hasn't won the 4CC but that it wasn't for lack of trying because he gave his all in the free. Angelo and he finish by saying that it is still a competition to remember as it doesn't happen that often to have two competitors with a total score of more than 300.

It's not that it doesn't happen that often; it has never actually happened! This is the first time there's two 300+ scores in one competition. I'm beginning to think the anime was being prescient when they had those crazy scores and layouts in their episodes.
