+1 on the 4Lz, though I'm also sure he won't do 4F. Doesn't he love the flip least? Though it's very very nicely choreographed in his programs these two years.

4A...:dev2: I think he won't until after Olympics unless a) he can land it nicely with heart attack inducing transitions b) he can't win any other way and at that moment decides to YOLO it

What exactly did you try to read? They were just blank posts... Is not like we were picking purple mushrooms :rolleye:
Just select the text and you will be able to read it without straining your eyes haha
If we start another invisible page, i swear i'm not going to be the one behind it! I only gave you the photos from my collection, if you want to discuss any of them that's up to you :rolleye:

Now I know the trick! Should I scroll back to read all those blank posts? :laugh2: I doubt I will strong enough to stare him with purple pants..

It's not just the purple pants... his practice pants are also skin tight so uh... just be prepared. :laugh2:

I don't know. I'm still feeling deflated after last night's promise of shocking revelations.

I remember last time he spoke of it he was exactly 1/4 short of rotation? Isn't that the max amount of underrotation allowed on a jump to be considered rotated? So he might not even get an UR call if he YOLO's it!

tbh I expect that lutz earlier than next season :cool14:

You know, i don't actually have that Biellmann photo in my collection... Someone sent it to me but i was so shocked i even forgot to save it haha

I still want to see that pic...:slink:

If you do, come back and tell us your impressions  You're halfway into the Yuzu Face Ava Club!

I think he might YOLO it...

I thought I had enough grey hairs aready without worrying about that? But yeah, the likelyhood of his adding something else is pretty high. He isn't the one to like being left behind by youngsters.

I think so.. But I think he should land the 4S combo first.. or he will find me dead after worlds

So we're back to discussing pants, aren't we? Right, no need to worry whether we hit the required minimum for the day - that's by far the most exciting topic in general.
Hell, I didn't have to work today - a day off in Russia - but I do have to work tomorrow, so I can't stay long, can I?

Oh, if we all died because of botched jumps/combos, this would be a thread full of ghosts.
Well, perhaps, after all... it is!

For me to not participate at Worlds at all and to withdraw after placing 5th at SP are two different things ;)

That's true, but the thing is, most men won OGM at 20 y.o. and older, only Button and Yuzu were younger (18 and 19). (I talk only about period "after Button" of course). It would be unreasonable to stay and compete another Olympic 4-year period when you are not getting younger and helthier :( and already have got the main medal in sport.

Only Button, Urmanov, Petrenko, Boitano and Plushenko continued until next Olympics.
Button won OGM at 18 and skated next 4 sesons, won second OGM at 22 and retired. (However we have to remember - at that time men didn't jump 3A or quads  )
Boitano made a come back at OWG 1994 and finished 6th.
Petrenko competed for 2 seasons and skated at next Olympics.
Urmanov competed full 4 seasons, but he didn't succed to get to Nagano.
Plushenko skipped 3 seasons after Torino, competed only during 2009-2010 and managed to get silver (not bad, really)

Considering this, Yuzu is indeed so unique in the history of figure skating with his incredible devotion to the sport. :luv17:

Right, I forgot Urmanov. Though Boitano is kind of like Sochi's and vancouver's plushenko, comeback just for oly. He technically was already retired and only comeback at lillehammer (it is also partially because of the pro and amateur thing back in the days, I suppose). Yuzuru won his first olympic and did not retire, which is highly rare. Kulik did. Most men you mentioned (and those who won OGM) did not win their first olympic. And those who did, mostly just quit. So yeah in that sense he is "unique". So back to that, this is why I would also argue why repeat OGM is very rare. Also, the judging system, the field and the sport itself was different back in the days. I would argue it is harder to do that nowadays.

tbh I expect that lutz earlier than next season :cool14:

I don't mind at all seeing it at WTT but I am sure as hell I don't want that for worlds. There is more than enough anguish from 4S3T alone.

At this rate he'll do a 4Lz instead of a 3Lz if he fails his Combo-of-Doom. :slink:

It may be hard, but I think Yuzu has as good of a chance as anyone ever did :luv17: Well, Plushenko came awfully close...

I doubt it, he seems to be more reasonable (lol) now. The makeshift layout at 4CC might seem crazy (to us), but 4T and 3A are his dependable jumps that he can throw out of nothing. 4Lz is not. We have never even seen a footage of him landing it. I doubt he would YOLO it, especially at such big events as worlds.
