Somehow it's really calming to see now the discussion of potential layouts and BVs, numbers calm me  I'm just curious to see what other features he's going to add to the 3F to try to get full GOE. Maybe land it right in front of the judges and stare into their eyes...

Tano/rippon it. I think he has fulfilled everything else. 1. steps 2. creative entrance 3. creative exit 4. height+distance 5. effortless throughout 6. good flow

only BS like element matched musical structure and delayed rotation/air variation that is maybe not yet fulfilled.

So 4Lz 4Lo // 3F 4T3T 4SLo3S 4S 3A3Lo 3A would result in BV 114.74. Is it possible with 3A3Lo, is that the "safest" combo choice if 3Lo would be included? I mean the BV would be huge... and if he fudges up the combo he could try again to the last 3A....
4Lz 4Lo /// 4S3T 4S 4T 3Alo3F 3A 3Lz3Lo would have really high BV. It is very uncommon to do 3A3Lo and I think it would be hard. 3Lz3Lo or 3F3Lo are more common.

...Thinking about it though, I'm still a bit traumatized over all the 4S-combo falls so perhaps 4TLo3S instead (new BV 114.52).

I actually got 115.66 BV with that layout (3F in first half). As for it being possible, well, technically all jumps land on the right foot so a -3Lo combo should be possible with any jump.

Like this ? but what if the judges scared and gave him low PCS? :palmf:

You are probably right, I'm not great at calculating BV :). So what do you think? 4Lz 4Lo 3F // 4T3T 4S 4TLo3S 3A3Lo 3A. There are quite some options if something goes wrong. 4S goes wrong try 4TLo4S, 4T-3T combo --> add 3T on single 4S, 4TLo3S --> add 3S to last 3A, 3A3Lo --> add -3Lo to last 3A. Still risky if popping a combo but the risk for Zayak is not too bad right?

Yes it's possible, the point is just that it is so damn hard - and Yuzu isn't even doing 2Lo's, so I don't think he likes -lo combos that much.

I think the 4A is more likely than a -3Lo :p

I think the influx of Yuzu fans can be categorized as follows:

-The pre r&J1 fans era (as per Marin, The VETERAN Category:biggrin:)
-The post R&J1 fans era (The Young Romeo era )
-The post Sochi fans era I belong here (The boobskirt era :laugh2:)
-The post YOI fans era (The YOLO quad and axel era)

I thought the boobskirt costume looked so cool when I first saw him on telly  He made such a beautiful Juliet, even the bbc said so

I mean, I'd even give him this. The 3F is part of the choreography and his exit matches the piano notes so well. The only reason he can't get +3 on the 3F is because only 3As are given that high a score. Judges don't seem to want to +3 any other triples in the men division.

Use this for BV calculation. Does the math for me!

What about 3A3Lz? Or am I just slowly losing it?

Uno has done 3A4T right? Have there been any crazy 3A-combos from Hanyu?

I can't even think that there has been a 4A landed out there in the world and I still haven't seen it, the trauma is real :gaah:

I would give it to him too. This is the bullet point that can be checked for anyone's jump due to how completely subjective it is. I think they would want more height + distance on the 3F, just my guess. Or they still feel that his not completely inside edge should bar him from getting +3 :p

He can only do this if he can jump in both direction lol.

You can't do 3A3Lz because of the different take off edge. Unless you do a 1lo but I don't think anyone has ever been crazy enough to do a -1lo-3Lz. The max you'll see done is -1lo-3F.

As for crazy 3A combos, he's tried 3A-3T-3Lo and 3A-1lo-4S. If they count as crazy.

Suddenly the topic about his layout for next season makes me worried.. I'm still afraid of the Combo of doom.. Please spare my soul yuzu.. :dbana:

maybe I'm come from the worse fandom, originaly I'm onehallyu user, a kpop forum, last December the site went down for a week and I was so bored so after a long time I checked Twitter, suddenly everyone and their mother talked about YOI, so yeahh..I checked it too on YT but becouse I'm not an anime fans, I was kinda 'meh' with the anime.

than, Yuzu PW Olympic showed up in my YT recomendation, (too much checking YOI content maybe  ) so here I'm right now in Yuzuru fan fest, and now I barely visit Onehallyu...

Wow I'm from OH as well :drama:

Initially it was actually a friend who introduced me to Yuzuru because she was raving about YOI and told me to check him out. I was also bored since OH was down and so I ended up in this fandom instead.

I still check Onehallyu regularly (but tbh it's the same drama and threads over and over again) but let's just say that...well my post count is over double here what it is there and I've been on there since 2015 and here since 2017

3F is totally matched to musical structure, even the entry, the turns themselves are perfectly matched to the chords o_o unless judges can only hear highlights and climax in music.

Add that last summer was totally dead, no news after he disappeared since Boston, no shows till Kumamoto in early September. He was locked in cricket for 5 month or so. This off season the thread will be more alive I think.

Oh my god I can't imagine how that felt for the fans :hopelessness: To watch Boston and then... nothing.

That's the thing, it is completely subjective. Some judges only consider this a checked bullet point if it is only done on the musical highlight/climax/break. Good example would be Anna Pogorilaya's 3Lz3T on her SP. Or Uno's 3A in his FS (before it became a 3A3T).
