Nagoya and Osaka are biggest skating capitals in Japan. For generations they have provided top skaters for JSF. It's the same with Moscow and St petersburg in Russia. The coaches and retired skaters from these places are famous and have a lot of power inside their respective federations and media.
Nagoya is the strongest and most powerful in Japan where you can see Mao, Oda, Kozuka, Akiko, Shoma Uno come from....
But surely they're not liking the fact that Japan's only Olympic Gold Medalists (Shizuka and Yuzuru) are from Sendai, a poor city that once lacked money to the point they had to close down their only Ice rink.

Should they be reminded that Sendai has the oldest ice rink in the entire Japan?
Yuzuru does not belong to either Nagoya and Osaka, he is typically an outliner in JSF. Of course he is the target for Nagoya group. They have time and time again painted him not so good to the media.
I was blocked by some Japanese for pointing that out, that Yuzuru in fact is treated not so well by a potion of Japanese media and Japanese skating fans and some parts of JSF. They don't want that out.
