I forgot to add that he also said every year the last performance of the season remained on his mind so he was very regretful about SP in WTT. But he skated perfect Chopin in the show now, I hope it is going to be good move :cheer:

Wow! Thanks for the updates guys! Saw Chopin 3.0 and I love it! (Sure he could probably work on things here and there) but it felt as ethereal as the 2.0 I love very much. I'm definitely looking forward to how much 3.0 will unravel!

http://dai.ly/x5o9tzn Here's a documentary about the roots of the name Hanyu and Habu which use the same characters but are pronounced differently. It seems that the characters evolved separately in Miyagi, Ibaraki and Tamegashima. In Miyagi the roots come from feathers, in Ibaraki, the roots come from red earth found in the area, in Tamegashima, the roots come from a place where a shipwreck happened. It's a rare name with only about 9800 people who have it. 85% pronounce it Hanyu and 15% pronounce it Habu.

Can anyone tell when the next stops of FaOI will be? I forgot and I'm too lazy to search trough the last twenty or so pages😂 XD

I've read "Ice Jewels" today at the bookstore, I didn't buy it so I can't translate but this is what I remember.

・He came to measure his fat and muscle and make good use of it for training and it worked very well before WC.

・He is not thinking of putting 4Lz very much.

・Now he is confident in 4T because he can do it like his 3A, and he can land it in the 2nd half with the same quality of 4T in the first half.He limited the number of 4T in the practice so he had to really focus on them, and it led to the good quality eventually.

・(about H&L) He knew he could have more clean performances with the layout of the last year, he can perform "Seimei" program very easy now, he can do it clean anywhere at any condition. However he really wanted to do 4 quads programs including 4Lo this season for the next season.

・He thinks there are a lot of things to be learned from Medvedeva because she can keep performing cleanly in every competition. (I think he was talking about her mental state mainly)

There was Brian's interview and he said he received the letters from Yuzuru's fans saying "why are you letting Yuzuru do 4S?" ()

My overall impression was that he basically said 2016-2017 was difficult season but he really needed it for the next season. It was long interview, probably 8-10 pages. I hope we're able to read more accurate translation :)

Thank you for information! Can I quote the part about Evgenia in her thead?

Hi, everyone! And thank you very much for providing the news, translations, links and very interesting comments:luv17: I had been a long time lurker here. Finally I made myself come out to say hello:o: (Hey, yude!).

I went to Faoi last Sunday. It was a wonderful experience. Before Hanyu-senshu's performance, we were truly entertained by Plushenko's Sex Bomb and then I felt the audience suddenly got very serious. Someone yelled out "Go, Yuzu!" when he was circling around right before the music started. When he put his arms down to wait for the music, we became dead silent. It felt like a real competition. And during his performance, my heart beat very fast right before each jump. I have never got that nervous at an ice show performance before, hehe. Oh, how deafening our roars got when he finished! It was unbelievable.

Welcome and post often! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! Was this the show where Yuzu did his no-miss performance?

I should be receiving the magazine soon today. I can scan the full article if you'd like to do a translation.

I'm glad you're going to receive the magazine today :) I'm guessing other fans are working on the translation already because they are always so fast (while I'm very slow on it :o:). But thank you for your offer!!

Hello, Mii!! It's very nice to see you here!! (and it's amazing you had been lurking since 2014 )

:agree:

Welcome!!:)

I was in Barcelona 2015 GPF and experienced the same.Chopin's Ballade is a masterpiece and Yuzu is more than ethereal, he brings you in another dimension where gravity doesn't exist. It's like a dream.
