Thank you...I think most of us would have had heart attacks if we knew this before the FS :sad4:

I don't think he will. What's the point, besides securing a spot for Keiji Tanaka to finish 19th at next years Worlds?
Anothet reason Hanyu is the GOAT: timing his flower ceremony music to strike his pose just as he climbs the podium.
That was epic![]()

"I don't know if it was the best performance of my skating life, but I can say from bottom of my heart that I did my best of today."
(message to the fans?)
"I want to say "thank you" and "I'm back"."

:sad4:His ankle isn't fully healed, hence the issue with the Lutz. I am glad he left out the 4Lo since it might affect his right ankle much more. Still shocked to see an OLD fan who started this fan thread liked a post saying they do NOT respect Hanyu for going for an easier layout.I can't believe what a miracle Yuzu has achieved today. I'm still crying from happiness :sad21::sad4:
After the first two jumps I thought: omg this is better than GPF15. Then he skipped the Biellmann and my heart stopped beating. No Biellmann means he still has a lot of pain in his body. No way he's back at 100%...
Next up the 4S+3T combo and I had to cry. Three perfect quads in this condition! After missing the 4T combo he even managed to reanimate 3A+1Lo+3S... mindblowing.
I think that 3Lz at the end was his biggest enemy today. He still has that scarily crooked axis in his take-off from 4Lz. By saving that impossible landing he just might have managed to defeat and overcome the horror from NHK.
Wonderful victory. Just wonderful!!:sad4:
