He already had the 4A, I mean 2016 he did four rotations, it would be weird for him not to get the other half by now, can a quad ruin a triple? for example, him doing 4A can messed up the 3A technique? like having more forced and high on a 3A, I dont know how that works
Yes, a quad can mess with the triple, see his Lz. It's one of the reasons we were sure he was working on the 4Lz. But his 3A is fine.
He also didn't have the 4A in 2016 because yes, that one extra half is a huge deal. It's not the one unconquered quad for nothing. He did land it last off-season but how many times, unknown. With the harness, it is plural but without one, I still count as landed it once. So that's not really having a 4A. It's a good indication that it is doable, that's all.



But it's a matter of fact that the Lutz has always been his least consistent triple jump (even way before he had started practicing the 4Lz). So I don't think, that the 4Lz practice was the only reason for the shaky triples recently.
Yuzu's 3A is a trademark.
