It said the passengers were stabbed in the bullet train. So relieved it wasn't the trip day for the skaters A man passed away and two women were injured, but the suspect was caught. Praying for the victims.

I saw the news earlier too. So sad... Is there any kind of security check before boarding the bullet train?

I happened to watch this before I slept last night, but I couldn't listen to the last part since I froze seeing the breaking news on the upper screen. It said the passengers were stabbed in the bullet train. So relieved it wasn't the trip day for the skaters A man passed away and two women were injured, but the suspect was caught. Pick your fellow Sendai, Yoko Kanno, Yuzuru!

I know this is late but it would be so lovely to see Yuzuru skate to Yoko Kanno pieces! She is one of the most amazing and versatile composers that I know of (and I didn't know she came from Sendai too!). While it may be too difficult to go through all the copy rights issues (particularly music from the Macross franchise) and unlikely for him to use them for competitive programs, these are the music I think Yuzuru can really carry through his skate:

Information High (Macross Plus)
Voices (Macross Plus)
Blue (Cowboy Bebop)

(I did also choose these to keep in line with the idea of "flying/being free" as told in different ways~)

Unfortunately, no :hopelessness: Something must be done in my opinion because bullet train is almost as the same as air plane in terms of transportation in tourism nowadays. We've been having these kind of crimes for a long time but the country has done nothing about it.

When did Yuzu debu this costume. I am wondering how everyone reacted to it.
I am curious right now cause seeing the H&L costume on him agan is wow to me. His pectoral muscles are more define in my eyes now.
And I am imaging how the swan costume fits now. lol

Yes it is indeed a spectacular cast! Besides Yuzu I’m really looking forward to seeing Anissina/Peizerat in the broadcast, they were my favourite ice dance team back then and so happy they were invited to H&F

Hmmm I’m not sure if this translation is entirely accurate, I don’t think he said he was increasing the number of rotations in his comments from late May at FaOI Makuhari, he was saying he was practicing the 1Lo or just jumping up. Also the twitter post makes it seem like he made new comments after the H&F show on his training of the loop from late May until H&F but the reporter was only quoting his comments made in late May, and contrasting it to the 3Lo he did yesterday to say his recovery is progressing well.

Or maybe I’m missing something as it’s been a few years since I lived in Japan so perhaps I’m rusty. Maybe others can give their interpretations? ^^;

「ループは軸を取る練習や、１回転だったり上がるだけのジャンプなどを少しずつ、毎日１回か２回やるようになってきたところ」

"(I've been) training the axis of the loop, take offs, and single jumps little by little. To the point of doing it once or twice a day." The article then says, Today, jumping a triple, showed favorable recovery. --my translation.

Thinking back it’s pretty rare to see footage of Yuzu practicing in costume. At the time I figured he did it because it was his first time doing the program since he didn’t do any summer shows.

From what I remember the moment he took off his jacket there was a hush of excitement. The costume is really pretty and sparkly, but he was fidgeting with the sleeves nearly the entire time during that practice session. It was a beautiful practice run-through though, one of my favorites for this program since it was a ton of audience in the practice session so it felt really intimate.
