Yuzuru Hanyu: 2021-22

The draw will be live but maybe geoblocked to Japan.
It starts Wednesday 5:30 PM (Japan time).

Edit: I've read several times that the draw was at 6:30PM Japan Time, not 5:30PM. I don't know which is true.
The first practice starts at 3:15 Japan Time if I understand correctly.

I didn't know there existed a "Super Slam" for programs.
It's true that many have stressed how comparatively low were Yuzuru's PCS scores at 4CC 2020 while the program was perfection itself and deserved 10s.

Yuzu skipped today's official practice (but Men SP is in two days). And here is his message:

The Japanese National Championships will start from tomorrow. I will also perform properly and with care, while trying to feel everything and with all my might. I ask for your support!

Good luck! And of course I'm so looking forward to watch him again :)

He also gave an interview. I'm not sure about the translation though.
I understand he may attempt a 4A in the Free (Sunday)!
Tomorrow there will be open practice without streaming, and Friday the Short. After the draw, he will skate 4th in the 4th group.

His group open practice is about to start in 30 min (13:05 JPN). Will he practice the 4A?
He will skate with Shoma, Keiji, Kazuki IIRC and Sota.

According to media reports he landed a 2ft 4A and then a 4A today in OP
Reports from fans with tickets to the OP say the same, although some say the last 4A his free leg could have scrapped the ice.
Besides that, he also jumped 3A-3Lo, 4S-Eu-3S combos in the OP.

Both jumps were downgraded, but they looked beautiful and were straight on axis over the right hip unlike his previous attempts.
