Much as I would like to watch Kazuki Tomono again, I'm afraid Junior World Championships are more and more unlikely to happen.I would send Kazuki, solely because Kao is recovering from a pulled muscle and still needs to go to JWorlds (if they happen)
Hopefully Yuzu and his haunted ankles get better soon!
Is Hanyu retiring? He has had a good long career. I know he wants the 4A but it was a huge stretch to say he was close at the olympics.Though I wanted to see him skate, I'm really happy he is giving himself time to heal. All the luck to Kao Miura in this worlds!
As far as I know, he hasn't said anything about retirement. Is Hanyu retiring? He has had a good long career. I know he wants the 4A but it was a huge stretch to say he was close at the olympics.
I believe he won't retire if his ankle allows him to go on skating competitively. He seems to be still aiming at jumping the perfect 4A in the perfect program, this time with less time constraint. Is Hanyu retiring? He has had a good long career. In his press conference he wouldn’t rule out another Olympics lol I don’t think he’ll make it that far but sounds like he’s not retiring. I think he will try to land 4A first. Is Hanyu retiring? Who would have thought in 2014 that Daisuke Takahashi would be fighting for a place in 2022 Olympics team? Never underestimate Japanese skatersI don't think he'll be in a competitive shape against younger and much healthier Japanese skaters in 8 years, but who knows, never say never.
