This final group has been astonishing. Chaeyeon's performance was beautiful, measured, again exuding that tranquil confidence. Lovely spins (that FSSp ) and also, best dress of the SP for me. And into a well-deserved second place for her!

When you think of it, all these girls who started skating as a result of Yuna-hype around 2010 are now approaching the age eligibility for junior competitions. So yes. I bet it's going to skyrocket very soon.

we are seeing a generation of little girls that saw Yuna at the Olympics and said "i want that!"

Really is fun to watch unfold.

I haven’t seen Isabeau Levito before, but it was wonderful. I wonder if she is one of the new gen quad jumpers in USA.

Lol. Never let enjoyable skating get in the way of anger over unfair scores! Isn't that what the sport is about, really?

Anna may not be at the same level as the girls before her in this final group, but she went out there and skated really well. The rippon jumps, the way she landed the axel and included a leg kick transitioning out before she put her foot down - just, the standards these girls are holding themselves to after a year with iffy ice time and very little competition are impressive.

The competition is already tough imo, on the senior level. And i don't always agree with fed's ranking system.
