Can someone explain why there are three Korean girls here? Obviously the rules have changed due to Russian/Japanese girls situation. But what is the rules now? Can you enter even more than three girls?

Interesting judging panel: no US or CAN judge, but there is a KOR judge. The two Korean girls from FRA1 should be better adjusted to the altitude this time out.

Last time I saw an entry form for judges for a a JGP (admitdely it was quite a few years ago, when they were still faxed), Feds had to indicate the event they were nominating their judge for.
If it is still the case, it would mean Skate Canada and USFSA opted for the Men event, while South Korea for the Women (unsurprisingly given they have only Women entries in the end).
As there were more than 9 nominations for the Women event, the SP and FS panels here will be slightly different to allow all nominated judges to serve in at least one segment.

Seems to me that it has been always possible to have three entries. I remember that during 2016-2017 season Japanese ladies swept the podium in Yokohama and Russians did at JGP Russia (i forgot the city). Maybe the rules changed after that season, i don't know. Or it was just possible for home events.

While we're waiting, Elektra cara mia, can you help me with why dal/dalla/dallo/etc. are sometimes 'from' and sometimes 'to'? I've reviewed this a thousand times and I'm still confused

sure dear, it depends on the verbal form and the general meaning of the phrase. i went to the doctor "sono andata dal dottore", i come from the country "vengo dalla campagna".

The part I'm confused with is the 'sono andata dal dottore' thing, why isn't it 'sono andata al dottore'???

Phew. I've made it here in time. I was running so late this morning that I only just managed to get the podium ceremonies at the end of last week's Free Dance stream finished before today's action started.

Livestream for the Ladies SP is now on air.

Here is the link for the livestream:

Here is the Time Schedule:

And here is the live scoring:

Hope this helps

:cheer: ALL THE BEST EVERYBODY!!! :cheer:

i think, and i'm not sure, for us it's kind of a given  , because the doctor is a person
So when you go to a person you use dal/dalla/etc. ? I think I'm going to have to memorize that to not get questions wrong on Duolingo every time when 'the boy goes to the girl' comes up (sigh)

Since there are no Japanese entries in JGPs so far, i think that there is close to no chance to see Japanese juniors this year.

It's normally only possible at home events. Otherwise the max is two. I believe in this case, it's because the Koreans can't go to JGP Russia.

Yes, but I thought you can only have three entries if you are the host country. The Koreans are not hosting this one...
