I think I would have placed Fumie first, but I can't remember for how much Kiira has beat her-

Joannie
2ax
3f Fall
stpes into 3z
Why are all the girls doing now those layback where the free foot hardly leaves the ice?
(sorry got a phonecall so couldn't really watch the rest)

Lime green dress

2f
(most known music in the world and I can't remember the name)
3z-2t (lutz HUFE as usual) but took forever to actually jumo.
2ax fall
My personal opinion is that there should be now a mandatory deduction for laybacks...honestly!
Circular footwork, fast, a lot of toe picks.
I like her spins, she has a nice center to them.
But putting aside that circular footwork, the rest was very bland

Fall on the Double-Axel? That is very uncharacteristic... Sounds like a nice competition so far.

And thank you, Ximena, for the great reports - love it!

very fast spins, nice combo.
I'm done with laybacks
I think now when you see a spiral section, you've seen them all, they all do the same, I think I miss Sasha.
Straighline footowrok ok
spread eagle into 2ax
That donut spin to finish was very pretty and lasted a lot!!
It was a pretty program overall.

The straightline was very good,
Layback ended well, did bielmman
The crowd is very into this program.
Ina bauer into single axel
Good spins.
Too bad about that axel, but really good program.

What is it with the top ladies making jumping mistakes in the short this year?
Looks like a tough proposition for Joannie to medal. Fumie may be back on track.

I like Joannie's skating, but it does not look like she can win silver here, which will only increase Caroline Zhang's chance to GPF. I'm happy for this scenario.

Can anybody assess the situation in which Joannie only wins bronze?

Just finished watching.
Well, I think overall lots better than COC. Many skaters took their seasonal best include Fumie(good for her), Kira (I hate her skirt), Yuna (always not good when skating last, but still took her seasonal best).

Ok, now is the current rank after ladies SP.

Watching the Korean feed...they're interviewing Fumie. Her English is excellent. She's talking about how Moscow's like a second home for her now because she trains there, etc.

Now Granny...that hair with that dress! Ick.

If KIM and NAKANO win gold and silver here (which seems likely), then these ladies are in the GPF:

ASADA
KIM
MEISSNER
NAKANO

ANDO will undoubtedly qualify at NHK, leaving one place open.

KOSTNER could vie with ZHANG for the final place, if she wins silver at NHK. But Carolina would have to score a total of 165.84 to claim the spot.

If Rochette wins bronze at CoR, she will have 22 points and will qualify only as an alternate.
