2014 Skate Canada Mens SP 10/31

I didn't realize if Stephen did a quad because I sometimes can't see that extra revolution.

Back to Adam: He is too talented to fail like this. I don't think he is sick. I think he needs to toughen up a lot for competition. The scores are right. Obviously if he'd skated technically the way he can, Adam might be in first in front of Carriere, instead of dead last.

Double jumps are invalid for the men in the SP as well, I believe (solo triple is required out of steps). Trying to look for protocols where it happened but I can't find one yet...
Yeah I removed that because I wasn't sure and wanted to look first.

In a few years ISU will have mandatory program layouts. 5 options for the men, 4 for the women. You choose one. Any time you mess up on an element you get negative points & also have to pay a fine.

Well, as they say GP events are good for working out the kinks and having a few falls, best to get it out of your system now and peak at Nationals. Adam looks devastated. But it doesn't have to be the end of the world, he still has opportunities to bounce back.

I am afraid I can see that happens. :bang:

Why am I always drawn to the headcases? Sigh...:disapp:

I hear you, I have penchant for following the headcases as well--it can take a few years off your life  On the bright side, when they do succeed it's also the most amazing, emotional triumph and you feel so satisfied (...well that's what I tell myself to get through it anyway haha).
