I think the Rippon jumps are a little more aesthetically pleasing than the 'tanos...but I'm not particularly bothered by them either way. Got to hustle for those points however you can. A good day for Team Tutberidze, so far...

I honestly prefer Serafima's skating, but well deserved places here (watch out, Zhenia, Sima is coming with everything in Jr. Words!). I just have a nasty feeling that the other two of the wonder 4, Maria and Sasha, are falling behind the Eteri girls and I'm not sure how they will catch up after Sima and Zhenia move to seniors, getting higher prizes and publicity :scratch:

Maria and Sasha will stay junior for another season. They will be better next season for sure.

just watched Evgenia, how cute : for some reason, when I saw that new negligee dress, I thought maybe she will rip it off in the middle of her program and reveal a robot costume underneath.

I didn't notice that someone had beat me to posting the videos. But, this is really good quality. Evgenia was really impressive, but she's the only one I've seen. She has developed so much since last year. Kind of humorous that she had to peak behind the partition to find her coaches. The first time I have ever seen that.

I think Evgenia said something inappropriate when she got into the Kiss and Cry area. You can't hear her speaking, but you can hear Dudakov going "Don't!" and Eteri saying "Camera!" Evgenia is not about to become a boring ice princess, that's for sure.

Well,,, she has two amazingly great skaters competing for the top. She will be happy but at the same time she feels sorry for sima. Yeah, she could have been more cheerful at the k&c for evgenia. But there is sima waiting at the backstage disappointed...:hopelessness:

I noticed - and it was confirmed in the judges' scores - that Miyu NAKASHIO did 4 sequences in her program:
2A+3T+2T
3S+2A+SEQ
3F+REP
3T+2T
... and I didn't understand why she didn't get 0 points for the 3T+2T. Does someone have an explanation for me? Did the rules change? Or is there something different to the seniors? Does repeating a triple, the flip here, no longer automatically count as a jump sequence even if there's no other jump right after it? ("+REP")
