Okay, maybe I'm the one who has bad English. :hopelessness:
I know you don't genuinely believe the speculation. I was just making a joke about how it's the only one you didn't refute.
Sorry I didn't get the joke. I thought you were being ironic about it.

I thought my

did refute that, because I took it for granted that you were not serious about that possibility.
TAlba, sorry if I offend you. It was not my intention. I'm not here for proclaim rainbows and butterflies. But to much speculation and discussion about "what Eteri and Yulia must do" is a little exaggerate.
You didn't offend me, but yes I was bothered by the tone of your comment.
I love Yulia, but I'm not her mom, nor her sister, coach etc. She needs to be positive but fans are not preventing that. Fans do speculate. We are not there to see things. We don't know her on personal level.
So of course we speculate, based on information that we have from the media, based on our impressions that we get from her, from competitions etc.
We also make suggestions, which if you think about it's totally crazy because she isn't going to read all the suggestions that fans, in various forums, might give. If she reads them at all. And in anycase I doubt she will change things just because we say or wish so.
I realise that this is a fan fest, but we've managed to keep this topic as a place where we can discuss about problems as well, or say without fear I don't like this or that program, dress, hair style etc.
As I said, I'm not panicking at all, because in the end I don't care that much even if she can't make it this year. There are plenty of years to come, and I just want to see her skate.
I was a fan of Kwan, and I never had the sadisfaction to see her win the Olympic title. The best skater of her generation by far, and among the best in the history of figure skating. But I still love her.
I was a fan of Mao Asada also. I saw her fall and rise many times, and she also never won the Olympics as well. Still love her as well. So, as you see my two favorite skaters were not perfect. Thank god for that. I find perfection boring.
I often read about her technique and strategies. We must concentrate in that, the real things, not create more speculations.
What strategies you mean?
About her technique: She doesn't have a good technique for her edge jumps, and she does have an edge problem for her lutz and flip. I think she should rework those jumps, from scratch, and she should've done it this year. But maybe she can't afford all that with the competition she has in Russia.
In anycase, she isn't going to change that just becuase we discuss about it either.
