I adore Polina's skating and I understand that it's not everyone's favorite, but she impresses me. I love her jumps, her line, I think her spins are good, she paces herself well, and has interesting choreo. But, this free skate music is just too sleepy for me. I'm sorry she "slipped" to fourth, but I think she has a bright future. Happy for Chen!

My hat is off to Ashley - wow! She nailed it! And hat of to Gold who face the pressure and did very well! Congrats to the medalists!

Decent skate by Polina, but I definitely agree with everyone who has commented on her juvenile packaging (costume and hair). If she had a different costume and hairstyle, I think we would get a totally different vibe from this program. The program itself is not that bad.

Did anyone else think that Polina's skirt seemed heavy/thick?

The juvenile packaging sometimes works, but here I don't think it did.

Have you not listened to her recent press conference before Nationals? She said the judges held her back on the GPs this year. What BS. She skated horribly in her SPs on the GP and then she blames the judges for her marks??
