2015 Four Continents Men's Short Program Feb 12 Seoul Time

If we're talking scores... At SA, Nam with a quad and three triple axels across two programs ended up behind Jason with no quads and only one clean triple axel.

At 4CC if Nam, Jason, Shoma, D10, Murakami, Mura skates relatively clean, what will their position looks like based on their programs?

Shower, and then dinner, and then the men's.

Andrew third in the first group.

Oh my god somebody hold me he HAS to make the FS, please please please

I think the judges would go:
1. D10
2. Mura
3. Jason (assuming he nails the quad in the SP)
4. Shoma
5. Nam (assuming he nails 4-3 in the SP)
6. Murakami (assuming he does only 4-2 in the SP, which seemed to be his plan at NHK)

Some would argue Murakami should go ahead of Nam (and he probably would had they competed back in SA), but Nam's PCS will probably get a National champion + extra quad boost. And you just don't do 4-2 under COP... It's just giving points away.

Shoma actually does have the speed, SS, and spins that Nam lacks, so he arguably would deserve as high as second... but with this being his first senior event, I don't think the judges will take him over clean Mura or clean Jason.

Just a wee reminder that the Men's SP is due to start in about 50 minutes.

From what I have picked up, the best stream (and the one I watched for the Pairs SP) is the Kazakh stream:

Official KazSport livestream

They are currently finishing showing highlights of an ice hockey match from the Universiade. But, they are due to join the Four Continents Opening Ceremony round about now.

Hope this helps

Opening ceremonies!

Where are you watching it? Because all the Kazakh's are showing at the moment are a bunch of videos of the achievements of Kazakh athletes.

EDIT: It's OK. They've joined it now. (In the middle of speeches... :rolleye: WE WANT SKATING NOT SPEECHES!!!)

"Please welcome KSU President with a big round of applause!" *anemic smattering of claps* :laugh2:

To be fair, the auditorium is pretty empty

Ice Network's live stream. I don't know how to share it...

The drum routine is really neat, but the camera work is abysmal

My goodness. One of those drummers they zoomed in on is the absolute picture of Yun-A!!!

What do you reckon? Will she make an appearance before the end of the ceremony, or will they keep her for the Gala?

And just as I type that, the Kazakh's mention her in commentary!

Oh, goody. More speeches.

I don't know about Yuna. Probably not. More people watch the gala.

Kazakh coverage has just started. Currently introducing officials.
