Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

I would imagine it's the hardest being Hanyu-san himself at the moment. ( With his family close second)...But since I have received nothing short of extreme delight and positive energy from this young man I have never met, I hope I can also do the same for him at this time. Confusing times, yes, but only good vibes and supportive thoughts from me.

I watch Yuzuru 's competitions since Worlds 2012 and I watch him grow and become stronger and better day after day. Everyone who love his performances and his power on and off the ice must support him no matter what he does. I know he will do his best but his health is the most important thing now. With modesty, he said before that now is what it is, not only with his fight but with all the support of the world. He need support now more than ever.
Don' t let him down ! Go Yuzuru ! All the best for you !

Well it might be a kind of :hijacked: but
This is one of my favorite impressive posts in this thread. I want to share it here again.
I will tell myself to have positive thinking that way like she did from now on :yay:
as I always think that he has so many great overseas fans.

Reflecting back on the events of this weekend, it is evident to me that this was not "just another" GPF for Yuzuru. I can see why he gave every ounce of everything he had just for the chance to be a part of it. For him and Javi to be able to share it and celebrate together was truly priceless.

In just the past 48 hours, he quieted his critics, calmed the worriers, boosted his confidence, and provided us three incredible, unforgettable performances. I cannot watch them enough, and each time it's all brand new again.

As tragic as the events of COC, I think it would have been more tragic for him not to have had this Grand Prix final experience, to have to watch from afar and wonder what could have been. And just to think that we came within 0.15 points of that actually happening. I am truly thankful that he does not have to feel that type of regret.

Yuzuru asked after NHK for his fans to continue to support him, and so that is what I set to do. Sometimes as a fan living on the other side of the world, I wonder what I can really do to show support. So I generated every ounce of positive energy that I could muster and aimed it directly his way, I calmed my own nerves, and then I watched him skate...and then I cried and cheered!!! and cried some more. I'm certain all of his other fans did as well, and I really think that he felt our spirits, and it helped him to skate well and to win!

Now he can go into Japanese Nationals confident and relaxed and focus on achieving what he considers to be "perfect" because he is already perfect in my eyes.

For me, I will just continue to watch and wish him well along the way.

Three cheers for Yuzuru!!! and Javi too!

Someone must've posted this already: http://youtu.be/sdTLlZuhCq4

I haven't seen it for a while because I become too emotional every time I see it...can't help crying.
Tonight, I saw it and cried again...I'll be always with you, always your fan.

Good night.

To take a quick break from all the "prettiness", I really don't think it's fair to classify those on this forum who are concerned about Yuzu's current situation as being "unsupportive" or not having "faith" in him. On the contrary, because we as fans support him so much we find it troubling that he has suffered one injury after another and cannot resume his training and preparation for the World Championships with his coach in Toronto.

This is not to say though that it's hopeless and he should just give up and WD. I certainly don't think that and regardeless of the situation, Yuzu being Yuzu has a chance at any competition he enters. It's also ludicious to blame Brian for any of the conflicting reports or for anything else that some people want to blame him for. From the little information we have, things are not going particilary well for Yuzu and most of us would feel better if he was back in Toronto training right now with Brian and his CC buddies.
