Slow Motion Jump Editing (AKA: Sam's Jump-a-ma-tron)

Is this music from Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy? It's giving me major flashbacks to my teenaged years.

All three tracks I pulled from Final Fantasy X (X-2)... or basically the same soundtrack, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster...

Nearly 7 minutes is a lot of time to fill with music! Nearly 15 year ago, so a bit sentimental... but you're talking to someone who was around for the original Final Fantasy 1 when it was brand new in 1987.

After hearing Polina's interview on TSL, I'd be interested to see a slow-motion video of one of two of her flip jumps that has received an ! or e call. She's pretty insistent that she although she rocks into the takeoff, she is definitely on the inside edge for that takeoff. I'm curious as to how it looks in the jumpamatron .

She is clearly on the wrong edge on the combo and enters on the wrong edge for the solo jump but at best is unclear.

The jumpamatron can speak for itself though.

That was good timing for the Zhenia Jumpamatron video -- seems to be picking up residual views/likes due to her current success at JR Worlds.

And the Yulia Lipnitskaya Spinamatron is still more popular than all the Jumpamatron vids I've done! ...Which I find a bit surprising, given 7 straight minutes of continuous slow-motion spins from one skater felt extremely self-indulgent on creation -- but I do find it very calming to view. Do folks really want to see more Spinamatron (instead of Jumpamatron) or was that an anomaly?

I do appreciate the music selection on Wakaba's vid, Sam... HAERTS! They opened for London Grammar here in Detroit last year, and I caught them a couple times at SXSW 2014.

I also noticed your Yuzuru vid really took off! Not too shocking, given the huge loyal fan-base out there for Hanyu. But I think you have a new winner for your channel!

I think some folks might be less likely to fulfill Sochi Olympic requests because the footage can be more difficult to track down, and even if one has it, they may be reluctant to post footage on YouTube... which is a shame, given the great moments from that event...

My Zhenia 3lz jumpamatron got nearly 100 hits in just a few hours but mine features Zhenia cussing so I expect the numbers to continue to climb.

Not surprised about Yulia Spinamatron being a success. Us Yulia fans are thirsty for anything at this point. I can only imagine the views her Adidas ad will rack up.

I might do a few more videos tonight and I think I'm getting better at finding the correct resolution as is apparent in the Zhenia 3lz 720p project. I literally one day just said I want a video editor and started in on making these things a few months back. I've learned everything about Sony Vegas from YouTube

I'm far from an expert but some folks were saying this single axle was pretty good when the episode came out.

Or you could just start taking lesson and learn on your own. If nothing else it might be a fun threat to throw at your daughter.

I think that is up to the community really. It was just one that I had in mind that I thought would fit the requests. If others think it would be fun to look at a single, well. . . i am easily entertained so I know i would enjoy it! But I don't really have the discerning taste yet to know good from bad, I just watch and enjoy in a clueless fog. A part of me thinks someone more qualified than me should give it the good Axel seal of approval before time is spent on it.
