2015 Finlandia Trophy Men's SP and FS

Firus just needs a few good skates and he will be moving up in the ranks. Really think with her SS and Program he would have been higher if he had a better reputation. Some of those with the reps who had similar errors to him did score and place higher.

Maybe a silly question but...
I really like Voronov and was looking forward to seeing his Jeffrey Buttle choreographed programs. Am I wrong in thinking that I'd see something different from or even more interesting than his last season's programs? Maybe it's just my untrained eye...

I really like him too but......That was Buttleography?? It looked like he was just skating around. Surprised to hear that to say the least

Firus doesn't have the firepower technically when it comes to the jumps. He's a bit like Patrick Chan lite without the jumps but skating skills only get you so far if you don't have a solid quad and a 3axel. Yes Jason hasn't had a quad and his 3axel is a bit shaky but he makes up for it with crazy transitions and is consistent.

That just shows that who is doing choreo doesn't matter that much, but who is doing choreo+who is executing it on ice ;)

Ugh I am late to the forum party. :drama: What time is the FS, Japan Time?

And still no video for MCM ...

The FS is gonna be 12:30 PM today, Finnish time. There's a link in the OP you can click on to view what time it currently is in Finland. Right now, it is 4:45 AM, so a little less than 8 hours to go. :)

It seems Graham Newberry has withdrawn. He is not on the FS starting order sheet..

no idea who he is... sounds australian from the name... but ... the first thing that comes to my mind is? i hope he is not injured... :(

He represents Great Britain. He was in last place by 5 points after yesterday. I hope he's not injured either..

Fantastic flexibility  That last combo spin :points:

Yes yes! If only he was able to land his jumps especially the unfortunate 3A. If he works on his other elements he will be able to climb the ranks anyway wishing him luck. It is still too early on the season. FS in a few...

The Finlandia livestream seems not to be working with me here in Japan. Anyone with the same problem? :hopelessness:
