2015 Finlandia Trophy Ladies SP and FS

I actually don't mind Yulia's dress as it is bright, fun and youthful, although I would prefer it without the bright blue belt, but the gloves are dreadful looking to me. I understand the practicality, but the look... :ohwell: Her hair is charming.

I will concur that she isn't feeling the music to me. Rika feels much more in tune with hers. Will be interesting to see their FSs.

I really enjoy Rika's new SP, it suits her, even the costume looks so nice.
But her posture kills me. Every time she kicks her leg onto the air, I feel like my heart has been kicked so hard.
It's like watching a young Miki Ando with her posture and spiral from hell.

Yulia is getting old. I do think the program has potential, but first she would need to be happy with her jumps probably to show the joy of step sequence) Wish her all the best, I love successful come-back stories.
PS: i almost cry from the sweetness when she said best wishes for recovery for Elena in K&C.

Oh yes! This is is just too sweet https://instagram.com/p/8q68jlQYV4/

On the video: Yulia: thanks to everyone who supports me! Lenka, get well soon!

Lenka: Yulia, only you could do that, I'm so happy, I adore you. Tomorrow, fight until the end! I believe in you!

:love::clap::yay:

First, on the positive side: I adored Rika!! Everything from her technical elements to the choreography to the dress is fabolous, well-deserved first place!
As for Julia, I have to admit that she's trying, but the result is really not my cup of tea... Everything looks just as it shouldn't be  It was just empty except for the step sequence: not a single emotion, the same old transitions she uses with every type of music, the order of the elements without any variety (I really can't stand the jump-jump-jump layout :slink: ). Needless to say that her PCS she received was incredibly overscored from my point of view, especially if compared to Rika or Hannah. Let's hope for spmething better today :hopelessness:

I really don't care about it that much. To me their dresses are different. Skate is all that matters. Go Yulia!

This we definitely agree on  I hope she has a sensational skate today

Group 2 of Ladies Free is an all Norwegian, Finnish group  so excited, and the last group will be awesome, hoping Joshi could medal! Hongo prob wins, shes been the most consistent of them all

Heh am I the only one REALLY like Julia's SP dress? Thought it was fun and delightful from the usual all too serious and self important approach.

I have described it as Jackson Pollock painted by those at M&Ms and Skittles. I also keep hearing this song in my head when I saw that one of a kind dress!

Groove it Julia!! :)

Just here to say that I LOVE LOVE Julia's SP dress! :agree: And I liked her program too!

That said, I really love Rika's SP. I've been a fan of Rika's since last season, her Carmen program and all, and my dream is to see Rika in person at the GPF. I'll be crossing my fingers and hands and legs and sticks and pencils and whatever else I have to cross for her, maybe it'll work and she'll make it.

Can't wait to get this going!

I think ladies event is more interesting than the guys. Surprised Voronov underperformed consider he has Jeff Buttle as his choreographer this year.
