Program wasn't atrocious, but it was very subpar compared to Brown/Uno. But you can't argue with Max landing two quads, two axels, and a cleaner/harder half loop sequence.

Congrats to ALL the medalists. Jason, Shoma and Max went out there and performed! -To the best of the varying abilities.
I agree with the standings...even though, in a few years, Shoma and Max, skating exactly the same programs could yield different placements. It was close, a good fight.
Max's happy face was the BEST.
Shoma is on his way up...silver medal on his first GP appearance is a great start.

The posing and resting made me think of Plushy! I know I know! Don't blame me, he did blow kisses to the crowd while posing during the Vancouver Olympics! I think he does, but perhaps, he could even finish 4th and qualifyTEB has a tough field: Patrick, Denis (uncertain condition but still Olympic Bronze), Shoma (2nd round!), Daisuke, Maxim...but who knows? It's always uncertainty with the guys
I just want to know who's predictions didn't go down the drain with this podium, because, save for Jason, I got my placements all wrong. But I'm still happy with the result.
Not me, mine are down the tubes, but I'm thrilled for Max, so I don't care. Kinda like Alexa and Chris and Julianne and Charlie in pairs....

Many many congrats to Max, well-deserved overall winner! 
So happy for Shoma, to skate such strongly throughout, as well as hitting 2 gutsy quads and a podium finish as his first senior GP! 
Jason never dissapoints me with his program and supurb presentation, regardless with or without a quad.

Congrats to max! Didn't watch the short so can't comment on who deserved it more but I echo what most people are saying; Max's program is severely lacking in choreo. That middle part where the music is soaring and he's just standing there.. Ughh..reminds me of Mirai's bond program.
guess as a fan, I just need to not watch him til 4CC

He deserved low 70's for PCS. Exactly what in his skating deserved higher than a 7.5 for any given component? He didn't even "skate clean".

Not to mention feathers....I think Max could make it to the GPF along with Uno. But we'll see....since ice is slippery with holes, sequins, concrete and boards.
