Welp, Marin is still having trouble with her 3F it seems. She's been having troubles landing them during summer shows, hope she fixes it by the time junior gp starts. (Also her lvl 2 stsq and lvl 1 spin, goodness). Japanese and Korean wunderkinds aside, Polina is still a major threat to everyone if she skate the way she did last season, and Fedichskina is also still around. This year JGP ladies will be a bloodbath. I am also excited about Rika Kihira (3A!!!!). If she manages to land them consistently (and also land 3-3s) she will be a threat not only for junior but also senior ladies.
I think they have 6 spots in total ( 1 entry in 6 events) for GP. So probably yerim+eunsoo will get 2 spots and the rest will get 1? For JW they will have 2.
No video yet. But yeah Marin is skating later for the free skate. I'm really curious of how she's going to do her Romeo and Juliet, especially with the music from both the Niño Rota version and the Leo one. The new Korean Juniors are spectacular! I've only managed to find 1minute clips of them on IG. But their spins are nice too not just the jumps, I dunno about steps sequences so don't take my word for it, but It looked nice and smooth. They may be a threat to Marin and the Russian babies. Does anyone know how many spots the Korean girls have at JW?
