Oh thank goodness it changed. I was always a little annoyed by it. It was something like, "YURI FIGURE SKATING ANIME!" Not good, because because in Japanese, "yuri" means lesbian or girl-on-girl romance, and the anime features almost exclusively males. I had to read the thread to figure out that, I don't know, a Russian skater's nickname was Yuri?


I read a few pages, but I never figured out where I could watch the anime or even what the name of the anime is .... the original poster should include that in the first post ...

Edit: okay, I see. The actual anime is called Yuri!!! on Ice.

And Yuuri is very much a Japanese name too, not just Russian (not a nickname, it's a full name).

Aww it'll be worth the wait karne, this one was both fun and had a lot of skating! I loved it.


I am also slowly being driven insane as I know I have seen that program performed by Yuuri. Or something similar at least.
