Episode 4 is about to come out but the music for Yuuri's FS already is and it's really something.
Yuuri’s FS Theme - Yuri on Ice
I truly want someone to skate to this for real :luv17:
Is that from the ending credits?

Nope, the ending music is "You Only Live Once"

I really liked this episode. There was less fan-service (which is good!) but it's chock full of outlines of the character development for the two Yuris and Victor. J-Yuri to start and opening up to the people that continues to support him. R-Yuri throwing away his pride. LOL at Yakov's ex-wife being his new coach. What a great twist! We also see a more "human" side of Victor. He is at his peak of his career. Where else can he go when he's at the top already? Interesting to say that his situation reminds me of Yuna after Vancouver.
Anyway, the cute doodles made me smile. I cackled at the picture where all of last year's GPF finalist were drawn. Although I wished they got a bit more indepth with the domestic competitions, I think they gave great background info about the season. Can't wait to see who Prichit is!

:Victor's expressions are still my favourite thing. And he was VERY Plushy this week, with the talk about getting music specially written for him.
And I immediately thought of Plushy and Edvin Marton, too! I was also really amused when Yuri named his piece Yuri on Ice because I couldn't help but think of The Best of Plushenko.Selfishly, I wish that if they were going to have skaters from unusual countries (Thailand?!), they had included an Australian skater. Wouldn't Brendan just make the most adorable anime character?!
I got plenty of laughs out of the assignments section. The reactions. That's basically us every June. Though I could also pick out problems: Yuri, having qualified for the GPF the season before, would surely have a bye to Nationals, wouldn't he? Also, I'm surprised they didn't give him NHK.
I am not sure I'm liking the R-Yuri arc. It was so very interesting for his character development when he had the Agape program and the development that came with that. I'm not sure the whole selling his soul to win thing works with that context. We'll see.

Was it only for me that Thai skater looked a lot like Yuzuru in his training outfit ? I liked this episode, they even made it realistic that the moment of GP lists being published is at night in JapanAnd triplets are everything this anime needed

In anime they love to make a protagonist lose at some point only to comeback stronger :yes:I have to admit, I still don't quite get the whole "Grand Prix Final is the super best competition bigger than Worlds!" kind of storyline they've got going on, as if GPF is the be-all and end-all.
