That was spectacular from V/M. Absolute perfection. Magical. Best performance of this masterpiece yet.
I wonder if they would let two Canadian teams on the worlds podium. W/P skated like they deserved it today. I'd say their program easily beats the Shibs, plus their long gorgeous lines and speed. Earlier this season I would not have said that in a million years. But their progress has been remarkable. I was skeptical at the beginning of the season when they seemed to struggle whether their move to Russia was the right one, but I think this proved they are right with the best teams in the world again.

I guess V/M will never catch Bourne and Kraatz. I think it's because B/K didn't get injured as much.

Looks like I need to add more videos to my top programs playlist!
All 3 were great! I think WeaPo's FD was stunning. Their SD needs some work but they should be able to contend for 4th in WC.
(I could've said 3rd but the Shibs has the edge for being consistent this season)
Combo Spin only level 2. They'll need to fix that for Worlds. I kind of feel like Canadian teams are more dancey than American ones, and I really like that
I'd take all three of the top Canadian teams ahead of all of the American teams this year.

Ikr, still can't wrap my head about smooth, fluid and strong quality of that element from them now...As we know how it was in the past.
But I think that today, this season they started something entirely new, something more personal, less 'showy' I feel, so I won't recall past troubles as they seem to build on that and create a whole new quality and definition of their skating.
This is quite a task to stay so much in present, be so 'real' and at the same time surpass reality on so many levels, to give away that emotion, connection, spirit and aura created;
It's unique to be so intimate, so close, but so open and giving at the same time;
It's rare to have so much power, speed and strenght, yet create an impression of delicacy and fragility;
This FD performance is a beautiful paradox of a great things
