I think judges are distracted like most of us to pry into PCS details, when our mind is so busy anticipating those quads. Also, I think it also helps Chen by the fact that his program doesn't feel as empty as Kovtun's does (despite the big jumps).

His SP is better than his FS, though. What kind of PCS he gets on Sunday will be more indicative of a change in how judges are seeing him post-nationals and post-5 quad record.
