The other kind of music that drives me nuts is the kind that speeds up even though you know the skater is going to run out of gas at the end.

You ain't fooling us with that choreographers!

According to the OP, Doug Razzano and Doug Ladret (now at 7k) did choreo for Micah? Sorry I couldn't really tell from his performance if I liked it, but hopefully he'll improve

According to his ISU bio, yes. Razzano is Micah's coach and choreographer (well, co-choreographer along with Doug Ladret)

all of the skaters so far pretty much had music too big for them.... or at least inappropriate.... big sweeping music, you need so much speed... they don't... i get mad at this because choreographers listen to the beats but do not get the sweeping phrasing... so the skaters look like they are doing something on the music in a local manner but ignore it globally... sorry... i had to get this out.

Exactly! Look Mr Webster is not going to set the world on fire with his skating, but he's smart enough to choose a tempo that doesn't look like IT is skating HIM.
