2017 Four Continents Men FS

Seeing that Boyang might have higher base TES must have gotten under his skin.... Nathan... please don't get injured.

Boyang is 12 points behind and hasn't had a clean free all season. And Boyang's PCS is lower than Nathan. Plus he's attempting a 4L for the first time in competition. Not a good move.

I sort of wish Nathan wouldn't cram so much tech into his program, even if it IS impressive should he manage to land it all. I was massively impressed at Nationals, but it still wasn't my favorite program since it just didn't feel balanced to me.

Ultimately, figure skating is still a sport. It remains more important to impress the judges than to impress the fans.

Personally, I'm glad that someone like him is around to nudge Hanyu into pushing the envelope further. Hope he's already started working on his quad axel.
