Samohin's going back to Junior Worlds but Hiwatashi isn't (he's a sub) so no recreation of the 2016 podium. Well, I don't think Aliev or Cha will allow that to happen anyways... In addition to the assigned skaters, the substitutes are now up. See here for more.

Thanks. I like to think of the Canadian flag he's wearing as a superhero cape. In fact, Nic's (and Nam's) name even fits the comic book tradition of giving alliterative names to the heroes, such as Clark Kent, Peter Parker and Scott Summers.

I didn't know who Shawn Mendes is, either; I stopped following popular music after 1999. (Yes, I know, I'm ancient.) After googling his name, I have to say that Nic is more attractive (but I could be incredibly biased, of course).

But 4everchan you need to get ahead of it, I anticipate Shawn Mendes songs will be coming to a short or long program near you in the not to distant future...

Certainly the driving beat of "Stitches" and "Treat you better" have seen them added into the playlists for the intermediate sessions and up at our club. [The music that gets played during the initial stroking warm up and when no one has the music for a run through....]
