Shouldn't there be more Japanese fans in the arena? It's close to Taipai and they always show up at major competitions no matter where it is held and what time of the day.

I think there have been many accessible competitions for Japanese fans to attend this season such as 4CC in Korea, Asian games at home as well as Winter Universiade in Kazakhstan, all of which were held in Asia. They may feel going aboard would enough already. Some of them might also follow wherever Hanyu, Uno, Miyahara, Tanaka and other seniors participated. Except junior ladies, Japanese juniors are currently not strong enough to haul their fans much.
