2017 Jr Worlds Ladies SP

Yes Leung was quite lovely. Held my attention all the way through.

Leccardi's flesh colored leotard is not doing her any favors. I spent most of her program wondering why she chose it.

And whether she was supposed to look nude from the waist up. I missed her initial pose and couldn't parse the dress until she stopped skating at the end. Not good.

Hopefully Leccardi goes to Kostner and fixes those air positions and landings, and then she'll be competing for Italy's top spot after PC2018!

Cha Cha Cha ChaChaCha.....oh well, we have Latin SD next season. I'm already afraid of music choices that dancers will present.

I joined in the middle, does anyone know if Bradie is in the next group or the group after that? I'm getting rather sleepy :palmf:

agreed there. So much prettier to look at than tanos imo.

Both tano and rippons or every other variations in the jump where hands are not tightened to your body means that you are not afraid to jump/or you are jumping freely. It's simple body language translated to the GOE bullets and scores...

Exactly. She has real potential with some lovely qualities, but that costume was so distracting I missed most of them.

I am totally biased, being a fan, but I really enjoyed that.

For those that have not come across Elisabetta before, I first saw her 2 or 3 seasons ago, and was instantly impressed. But the second time I saw her, at the 2015 Lombardia, she had the scariest fall I have ever seen.

She was wearing white stockings, and within minutes of the fall you could see this big massive bruise shining through it. I was convinced she had broke her leg.

She had to have medical attention on the ice, and had to be taken off on a stretcher in a head brace (she took a bad bang to the head as well).

But, she was back competing again just 2 months later, setting what was at the time new PB's in every segment.

Just shows how strong she is.
