It felt all fake to me. Rehearsed. And it's not projected out. The choreography is so busy that it felt like she was just trying to get through it, as it was rehearsed, rather than perform it.

don´t agree! the Skaters prepare according to schedule. if you start erlier they mitght be not ready with tieing skates or warming up. in Addition the officials Need a break that they can go to the toilet and have a coffee and a Snack.

Agree that the officials need breaks, especially with a nearly 7 hour long competition like this.

But, they have already been told that the break is a certain length, so they should have been prepared sufficiently to fit everything that they want to do into that length of a break without needing longer.

As for the skaters, I can see your point. Starting earlier can throw off their preparations for their performance.

But the other way of looking at it is that the same thing could happen in the middle of a 2 group session if somebody has to withdraw at the last minute. Everybody after them ends up starting earlier than they were scheduled to.

And if it was somebody from the first group that withdraws, the second group are in the same position that we are discussing

So, you have to be prepared for anything.

She's been 'consistent' apparently, though they don't realise that only in domestic competitions and never outside Russia. Really stupid move on their behalf and could have given more exposure to Gubanova.
