Her jump techniques got so unstable during the season maybe due to her puberty hits. Regardless, she fought really hard, so this is a redemption skate. Well done.

I have to drive my daughter to school now, so I just might have to suck all the life out of my iPhones data plan to catch the final group while on the road. It's a thirty minute drive. Booooo. :(

New slogan: don't worlds and drive!

I am glad for Karen, but heartbroken for Japan / Wakaba. She (Wakaba) deserved way better than what she got. The USA is looking very likely to get 3 spots (or at least I hope so) but they do not have the same pool of talent as Japan will have next season. Such a shame!

They should have made Satoko go with a promise of a spot for her next year. New Rule: highest finish at previous world gets an Olympic spot.
Wakaba is a journey woman. This should be very clear when she was no where near the Russian babies for years. She's always overscored in Japan. Next year, JSF will not be kind to her and Satoko anymore.

wow Angel delivered!
super happy
& Karen!:luv17: 1 of my fav ladies progs this year

Leave Wakaba alone!

What's a journey woman?

Should have been a good parent and asked your daughter skip school and spend time with you watching Worlds.

Isn't aspergillum a type of fungus?

I think you're thinking of aspergillus. :)

According to MW an aspergillum is: a brush or small perforated container with a handle that is used for sprinkling holy water in a liturgical service.

Well my cat Bingley greatly enjoyed that if his rapt position directly in front of my screen is any indication.

Honestly I'm starting to find Nicole's skating a little bland though I used to be a big fan... maybe I'm just getting grouchy in my old age.
