Patrick Chan

for some reason, my eyes adapted quickly to see the voluptuous parts ;)

calica, you are indeed naughty ;)

Why am I not surprised??!? :rofl2: You and I are both pros at detecting the "good parts" ;)
Now, if I could just get away with the same kind of avatar of Jeremy!:dev3:

i read them... not as mean as usual but she called him Chang and Javi, Hernandez... I am baffled at her lack of care about simple facts

And she pretty much ignored Jin the eventual bronze medalist and original new wave quad prodigy. From her, this is a quite neutral report of the Worlds Men SP and is already the best that can be expected from her.

Is there a picture of the trashy banner?

I wish! :laugh::laugh:

I'm guessing this is it?!?!?!?

Ha, that might be it. The picture taker responded to me, saying she didn't think her banner was as "beautiful" as the other ones, so she was glad Patrick noticed it!

Changing topics, in today's Icenetwork interview with Javi, he mentioned Patrick a couple of times:

Me, or Patrick Chan, we are like the older generation of men, and we have to be smarter about every little bit of strategy. We cannot just be, 'Throw yourself into the air,' because we are not 20 anymore."

Fernández will turn 26 on April 15.

"We are competing with men who are 17, 18, 20 years old. That's a big gap in figure skating," he said. "I don't know if I'm going to be able to [add another quad], and I don't know if it's going to be in our plans..."

Some fans on Twitter felt sad for Javi in the same way that I felt sad for Patrick after he confessed that his body can't keep up (article). :sad4::sad4:

All right, here's a pretty pic of Patrick to cheer us up - posted by Stars On Ice today:

I wrote to SOI to give them a  about not coming anywhere between halifax and ottawa. They said "hopefully next year" ... I replied to them "this is THE year before the Olympics when we want to encourage our faves while they are still competing ... but really, I am an angry customer... how can they not stop in Quebec at all? So that they don't have to provide French translations to their programs?

Rant over.

GO Patrick GO.... PLease come to ACI since you are not going to visit Montreal with SOI

Why do I get the feeling that they've been saying "hopefully next year" for a long time?

Is SOI telling us that Patrick will be performing Esqualo?

That would be nice, since that seems to be the only time we ever see him perform Esqualo - during the summer.

We probably won't see Patrick skating with this costume on...:laugh:

My first thought when I saw this picture was that it was a missed opportunity for Kevin to put on an aviator hat and dress up as "Rocky". ;)

SOI has become super lame with their scheduling, it's even worse in the United States, there is one show for the entire Mid-Atlantic/Northern part of the country.

Then one in the mid-west and it's Chicago. They don't even schedule in Detroit where there is huge hub of figure skating, the next shows are in California and then 2 in Washington State. WASHINGTON STATE! :palmf:

Oh sorry for the double post again but let me just add this

GO PATRICK!!!!:cheer:
