The word "quad" has become one of my least favourite words. I specifically hate how Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski pronounce the word "quad". They say it like "qwaaaaawwwd" which is as irritating as Demi Lovato's oversinging.

Quad did you say?

:)

It's a weird thing. Noone says Quadruple, and no one say "Trip" for a triple jump.....that's english. In german it's easier, vierfach or vierfacher Salchow. Or japanese yon-kaiten Salchow. But then they also say turipuru toloopuuu...

The quad muscle of Patrick Chan's right leg is quadruple the size of his left quad because he works his right quad landing quads countless times in preparation of the quadrennial Olympics. :slink:

Anything they say (especially by the latter) is annoying IMHO! ;)

No, her expression is blank. She just looks at you like you're not in her eyes. Lol
The black cat is scared of everything and everyone.
The white cat only listens when I feed him.

Poor black cat, but I can understand it, I dislike everything new. White one is a clever one, I see

I have unfriendly thoughts when people drive aggressively thru construction zones :curse:

I am mentally strangling a very finicky client right now. She is not even paying me very much. why are the finicky ones are also the cheap ones?

One more word to google for me:D because here we use word "finik(ck?)" for one product, rather sweet one:hap93:

I am getting scared a bit. Fear of the unknown: what is next as the end is inevitable? What loss will strike first? My cat is 16 - she has been so loving and gentle recently and I so get used to her. My parents are close to 80. My executive career is at the dusk. And cancer shoots randomly at people around me. The only sweet hope are my kids - the whole life is ahead of them. Let the peace prevail.

Almost 3 weeks ago, I lied on the blood donation form that I was 110 pounds when I was actually 108-109 pounds....110 is the minimum. I really wanted to donate and I knew I was close. I ended up fine and dandy. No ill-effects.

Although I watched the Eurosport coverage of Worlds a few weeks ago, I have now decided to watch the BBC coverage before it expires from iPlayer this weekend, just to see what Kat Downes comes out with this year.

What have I let myself in for?!

(Actually, for the Men's FS, I watched the BBC coverage a few weeks ago, at the same time as I was watching the Eurosport coverage. Flicking back and forth between the two recordings to see what each commentary team said. But, I didn't watch the BBC coverage of the other categories then).

I wish my weight was so close to mininimum, that I could lie and no one would question it.

They still had to do precautions on me when I was donating. Like lifting my legs up and putting a cold washcloth on my neck. Because I was "right at the minimum."

And aw.

hahaha! Is a candy or cookie over there?
if only finicky can be as sweet!
usually it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and gives me the desire to flip tables

Good thing they do :) I've never donated blood, but I heard they do weigh people sometimes when they suspect someone is under 50 kg. Unlucky for me, I'm so small that I'm not near enough to try cheat and donate :(
