Seriously though. Samodurova.

Considering her and Kostornaia very nearly didn't get assignments (if a few of the earlier skaters had done slightly better...)

Sofia is still cautious with her jumps, but she is my winner of tonight anyway. The spirit!

I love both Sofia and Alena but how on earth did Sofia's skate beat Alena's? Alena had 2 triple-triples, Sofia had none, they both had good PCS.... I don't understand.

Aw, her interaction with Mishin is adorable. And he cracks me up. Like, he takes her hand and waves--look everyone, the winner!--and then puts it back firmly and immediately on her lap. Thump.

I like both Konstornaya and Samodurova for different reasons. Happy for both though Alena is first in my book. Good luck in JGPF!

I can't believe Samourdova is suddenly winning everything after being low-balled the last whole season, good for her though, I like her :agree:

all the rivalries aside, its just admirable how these young skaters behave and carry themselves, they are very respectful and considerate at such young age, way mature than most of the adults, its great to see them become adults in front of us, well done you all :points:

I really like Sofia and Alena but I'm actually quite baffled at this result. I thought Alena was way ahead in terms of overall skating and complexity of the program. She's ahead in PCS so I'll have to see the protocol because I think Alena was robbed.

Congrats to all the medalists! Some weird scoring at this event, some of which I don't quite agree with but I await for the protocols. The right girls are going to the JGPF, though, so we'll resume this in December!

Kostornaya was so robbed, that it isn't even funny. WTH was that. I hate politicking and fixing.

Guuuuh. :bang:
