2017 GP Cup of China Mens FS

Watching Vincent and Max just skate around and jump is hard to watch it gives me a new appreciation of Nathan who actually can perform and jump at the same time.

So.. the top 3 SB for the U.S. men not named Nathan Chen.

Jason Brown: 176.87
Max Aaron: 176.58
Vincent Zhou: 176.43

Things are interesting.

Oh really? I thought that was a far better version than Butler? Butler sound like a truck driver in a pub.

Ah, but barring from the ending of Hochstein (where the voice level changes gradually, higher and higher) , it felt like being hit by an undesirable flood unexpectedly when the vocals start in Hochstein's version. Wasn't really a fan, sad to say. But even sadder is the feeling that even though it's been 3-4 years, the cascade of POTO feels too soon.

WHY ALWAYS GERARD BUTLER??? Skaters look up Ramin version I beg of you. But it was enough to overtake Vincent! Whooo boy us men race to Olympics spots is more interesting to me then who makes it to Grand Prix final tbh!

Oh Keiji! not a total meltdown. at other times, he had completely fallen apart, he can still get an ok score with this. just not on the podium.

honestly though, does the costume even matter, because I have seen WAY WAY WORSE:slink:

Don't the judges take costume into account too? I say that rhetorically, while at the same time in the state of wondering. Surely, the costume can have some influence on presentation and interpretation?
