He has the talent for sure, but I am not ready to give up on Javi. It was a bad competition but he showed great form in the beginning of the season, so I try to remain optimistic.

It's disappointing today, but then when Men's is good, like Kolyada's SP, it's jaws-dropping.
Nah, with Brian by his side, Javi should get his sixth title easily.

I'm so sad for Javi. What on earth happened?? I can't believe we won't see him in the final...maybe it will be a blessing in disguise more time to train for Olympics? #tryingtostaypositive
4th place for Vincent at his GP senior debut! Just like Nathan last season. I don't know why people are automatically assuming that Vincent won't make the team he's got one more Grand Prix assignment left the same as Max and Nathan and plus they still got us National so nothing set in stone yet. Congrats to Max.
He's trying to copy Yuzuru with Skate Canada.

Seriously the abnormal amount of PCS for Kolyada is freaking me out as well as that TES for that many pops. ISU need to investigate into the judging or it'll be Sochi for the men this Olympic. It's not just home cooking Russian. They're going to be everywhere this season!
Taking into the consideration that the European Championship are in Moscow, you never know....

Really impressive really? Eurosport guys? I just can't get with the Elvis program (Construction and the artistic credibility of the program is more important to me, more than the skaters)
Max is more impressive today than all the guys. Personal breakthroughs, personal bests etc... Very impressive, even his very non POTO costume is impressive and shows confidence.
What impressed me today is actually HanYan's FS program. Mature, soulful, moody, he have developed a real 'flavour' to it which I find it quite interesting. Up the Quads and improve on the stamina, and he should be running again. These are good contemporary programs with no silly jokey bits I wanted him to have all these years.
Vincent also impressed me today. Showed he has grit and determination for a comeback after a disaster. Yes, he has a lot to work on, but it is the very good base foundation to work from. Over 100+ tech, highest of the day among this calibre of skaters is nothing to be scoffed at.
