It just occured to me that Eteri now has a gold medalist at all major championships both senior and junior now! :2thumbs:

Thanks for the link! A very nice interview. From the way she talks about each skater, it's clear how much she cares about them. And she's so open (mentions how she sacked a skater nd then took her back, although nobody was asking her about that). I'm also very glad that Tsurskaya has recovered from her injury.

I'm very glad for the to the birth of a new star in Eteri's team - Alina Zagitova! 194.37 - the second sum in the history among juniors, and already at a debut stage! It seems that my post #18 in this thread was prophetical :scratch2:

There was a triple success of Eteri team today. Let's compare the achievements of Eteri students only by TES, received for LP:

1. Alina ZAGITOVA, 14yo (3rd event of Russian Cup, Master of Sport category) - 75,57

2. Evgenia MEDVEDEVA, 16yo (Skate Canada) - 72.86

3. Anna SHCHERBAKOVA, 12yo (3rd event of Russian Cup, Candidate category) - 71.11

Here's a girl Eteri might want to look at. She's skating in Advanced Novice for Austria but she just moved there from Kharkov Ukraine about 1-2 years ago. This is something I was going to write last year when I found out she moved but she didn't perform all that well(and didn't do well in her first international event this year) and there was no new video. So far this year she's scored a 111, 89, and a 109 which isn't bad for someone not from one of the major skating nations. I do remember seeing a picture of her with Viktor Kudriavtsev.

A couple of Eteri's men have done very well today. No videos yet but here is the FS protocols.

5th stage of Russian cup.

Alexey Erokhov scored 168 points in his FS. He landed 4T, 3A+3T, 3A and 3F+1Lo+3S with very good quaity among others.

Daniil Samsonov, who is born in July 2005 had the 3rd best FS score among junior men. He didn't do very well in his SP though, he was only 14th after SP.
