Aw, such a shame about the lift, I really like this team While this particular program is not exactly my favourite (too much dramatic hand shaking for my taste ) and the music for me belongs to W/P, I really like them as a team and hopefully they continue to improve :agree:

Abachkina is truly marvelous. What amazing articulation of movement. The hands, legs, arms. Expressive, dramatic power.
Can't wait to see how this team progresses.

Angelique ABACHKINA / Louis THAURON have IT factor compared to Lauriault/LeGac but they have just not delivered technically this season. They need a lot of work on basics and I don't think Igor is the right one for that.

Honestly they've been beaten by Lauriault/Legac all year long so I'm not sure that if they were to beat them by a small margin today they would have gone to the Olympics. Realistically their only chance of going was if Marie-Jade didn't get her French citizenship in time...

Oh yeah, Nazarova and Nikitin is the team with the incredibly weird stationary lift. I hoped that they would have come up with a better version of it by now, but it never seems to work very well.
