I predict S/H will get gold in Beijing, most definitely. They are hungry for gold now after the silver and skating on home ice?
What better advantage than that?

Can anyone explain how/why Sui Han lost levels on the pair combo spin and last lift? Looks like those cost them the gold...

So... When can we expect there to not be shenanigans? Though weren't D/R second in the LP anyway?
Though at least the Chinese Team winning in Beijing after losing by less than half a point is a story that can't be beaten by anyone in the current field.
well she stepped out of the sal right? That was the big one.
they didn't lose because of turandot. they lost because both of their jumping passes were botched and s/m were perfectly clean.Just arrived here and read the results. Sad for Sui/Han. Could someone please tell me did Sui/Han lose because of 'Turandot'? I wish so much Sui/Han has skated something their 'own', like 'Bridge over troubled waters', instead of this so called 'honour' to their coaches' program, etc. I couldn't get into Turandot throughout the entire season no matter how well they skated it. It just made Sui look 'old' with the period costume and the choreographic movements look archaic for their young faces. I didn't want to make negative comments in the forum but never have a good feeling on 'Turandot'. The pressure to honor your coaches by skating better and all that stuff can't help. In 4 years, Sui/Han please do something your own.
I will burn this forum to the ground...
I see we have similar way of thinking :cool14:. It is always that stinky pair spin level...I just looked at their spin level. I really hope to god that that one great spin that always gets them in trouble didn't lose them levels here. Let me pretend I didn't see that![]()

I'm very happy for Aljona, her determination is formidable, this performance was excellent, but they're not the better pair team imo.

How did they lose those levels? Can you explain?

Bruno is an OGM, Robin is not. lmao. Anyways, does anyone know if S/M will both retire now?
Happy for all the medalists, but heartbroken for my bbs. I hope Tarasova doesn't beat herself up too much :sad21:
This is why my emotions are super complicated right now. I'm very happy for Aljona and yet, it's just for her. As a team, they don't center for me, I am happy for her for all she's done.
As a team S/H have it by miles and miles, which is why I'm so sad. Ahhh life. With her injuries ... well everyone says next time, next time. More often than not, there is no next time actually. We just remember more those who get it.
