Maybe that's why she did Schindler's list? Lipnitskaia was very introverted and the music worked well with that. I don't mind her doing Schindler's List but wish she'd went with a different cut, the soundtrack is lovely and like some other's have said I was reminsicing over Lipnitskaia's skate more than enjoy Schott's skate.

I've almost forgotten about Julia. Blah. She was so boring. :scard8:

I'm looking forward to Anna Khnychenkova and Aiza Mambekova, but none of the other remaining girls' music choices excite me either

Exactly! Which is why I feel is poor taste to use it as a means of emotional manipulation of sorts (as stated upthread).

ETA: That doesn't exclude Yulia Lipnitskaya, although she killed it (at least in the team event).

Maybe she was trying to do it well? LOL I don't know. Just because she was bad at her job doesn't mean it was inappropriate to try. And is the music so married to the movie that you can't separate it at all? Though I guess it is too iconic to do that in this case.
