I think I've read "lumbering" being used for him.

He does his job, and he isn't worse than half the teams here.

My first unrealistic outside hopes for a medal, now dashed save total meltdowns to come, Marchei/Hotarek - I've watched them perform this much better but home crowds can be intimidating. That said, seeing what they've made of this partnership makes me wish they'd begun skating together earlier. Valentina was meant to be a pairs girl.

Overall, they organically have the fun vibe Tarasova/Morozov were trying to capture with their free skate this year. I bet these two could skate that program and work it like pros.
