But if she does that, she will never compete at the Olympics again!!
Or does the neutral flag allow her to do that?
Yuzu: welcome to TCC, Zhenya darlinginteresting![]()
so did she just miss Yuzu so much that she wants to train closer to him?![]()
she can represent Armenia (or what is her origin), I guess.
As a student of Orser, she wouldn't have political backing? That's doubtful. How strong is the Italian federation to give Kostner the scores she gets?Would it? I don't know if it would let her have the political backing. Her achievement as the 2-time WC will fade if she doesn't place next year, which isn't guaranteed. There's a lot to think here, before saying this, IMO.
It certainly would be far more legitimate than the "marriage" stuff some distance runners use to represent countries like Sweden for instance, and it works out for them just fine. Her origin is Moscow, Russia. Her father is Armenian but I am not sure that's enough for her to skate for Armenia.

What about Galustyan ?Her origin is Moscow, Russia. Her father is Armenian but I am not sure that's enough for her to skate for Armenia.
Tursinbaeva was born in Moscow too

This year it was Galustyan to have failed to qualify Armenia, and so itself, to Olympics. With Med, Armenia could hope take two spots, next time.
Isn't her father also divorced? But I am not sure that her father has Armenian passport. He was born in Erevan when it was the Soviet Union. But according to him he moved to Moscow at the age 16.

But since athletes can only represent one country at the Games, then will representing Russia under a neutral flag prevent her from representing Armenia ??
I’m still stuck trying to imagine TAT’s reaction to her favorite potentially leaving russia and training abroad lol

More than a russian ambassador, she was an "Olympic Athlete from Russia"after being an ambassador for Russia
