:hopelessness: Which program was this? It looks like a bad Synchro costume.

I thought about mentioning her in the OP but I didn't want to call my girl Miki out like that since I love her

lol I don't remember tbh. Most of her costumes look like bad Halloween outfits though

Have always loved Mirai's costumes. Burgundy, white, black, red, different shades of blue, etc. etc. Is there any color that doesn't look good on her?! Usually the costumes have lots of beading, but her "Sun and Moon" costume was a little simpler (and sleeveless) this season and looked really nice on her.

Mirai has had some really beautiful costumes. Some could be evening gowns, if they were modified a bit.

Said that, his shirts are mostly gorgeous.

It's true, velvet is well known for accentuating curves which is why it's historically been popular for tight evening dresses. On Shoma, this choice of fabric definitely did just that to certain features of his, more so than I personally prefer.

Velvet is pretty bad - but at least no one (that I can think of) has ever worn corduroy............YET!........

Eek! That reminds me of Dory from Finding Nemo!

He can be hit or miss. His Chopin outfit for example is beautiful and understated. His Seimei outfit was great. PW on point. But R&J and Prince LGC? Not so much. As long as he gets the frilly OTT costumes out of the way during the ice shows, and has nice elegant ones next season it's all good!

Didn't notice it before but the costumes for Wang/Liu's Mika FD is eerily similar to the Kerrs' Exogenesis FD, especially with the guys' matching sparkly purple shirts.

Are there other examples of very similar costumes for unrelated programs?

I thought Hanyu's costume made my eyes hurt but that was before I got to that vile monstrosity that Weir is wearing.
